Legal
By downloading, installing, or using LOCKEDIN ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, don't use the App.
LOCKEDIN is a screen time accountability iOS app. It uses Apple's FamilyControls framework to block apps you select, and credits your screen time balance based on workouts and steps read from Apple Health. All functionality runs on your device. No accounts are required.
LOCKEDIN Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple's in-app purchase system:
Current prices and any applicable promotional offers are displayed in the App and on the App Store before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Settings on your device.
No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods. Refund requests are handled by Apple per their policies at support.apple.com/billing.
Your use of the App is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies in addition to these terms. You can read it at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these terms conflict with Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA prevails for the App itself; these terms govern everything else.
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to circumvent the App's blocking functionality for others, resell the App, or use it in violation of any applicable law.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. LOCKEDIN does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, that the App will meet your requirements, that any particular health outcome will result from use of the App, or that screen time blocking is uncircumventable in every scenario. You use the App at your own risk.
LOCKEDIN is not a medical device and does not provide medical, health, or fitness advice. Consult a qualified professional before starting any exercise program.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LOCKEDIN and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Total liability for any direct damages is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be surfaced in the App or by updating the "Last Updated" date below.
You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or restrict access to features if we reasonably believe the App is being used in violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts of Wake County, North Carolina.
